Would you wear shoes lifts?

I have been shrinking as I reach middle age- 50. I have thought about lifts before but they feel phony. Would you wear shoe lifts?

No. I'm short, and I own it. I did wear platforms when they were back in style during the late 90s and early aughts, but I was much younger then. These days I would probably fall and break an ankle if I tried wearing quadruple stacks.

No one but you is going to notice a one - two inch increase in your height, if it makes you feel better OP go for it but don't expect anyone to notice.

Tom Cruise - Simon Cowell - Vin Diesel - Zac Posen - Robert Downey Jr. - Daniel Radcliffe - Brad Pitt - Mick Jagger all wear shoe lifts yet no one considers them tall or even moderate height.

If it makes you happy, go for it.

You need to see a doctor. It’s unusual to shrink at 50 yrs old.

by Anonymousreply 8August 18, 2021 9:59 PM

Wouldn’t everyone you know notice?

Tall mens shoes sell some decent shoes that raise you a couple of inches but feel quite natural. The raise is built into the shoe

I like short men, as long as you stay fit.

Do you aspire to look totally pathetic like Trump, OP? What’s next? Crapping your diaper on National tv? Coloring your hair like Ghouliani?

by Anonymousreply 14August 19, 2021 12:02 AM

I ran into a former friend who had lifts that raised him up three inches. I laughed right in his face.

I couldn’t help it.
