God he does look amazing; if he had work done, it's very subtle.

Thomas did not look anything close to a Black person in that awful makeup and wig. He looked Indian or Pacific Islander maybe but not Black. The idea, everyone thought his character was really Black in the film made the satire fall flat.

For all you folks going on about how "old" and thin Howell looks, like R46 mentioned, he had a ruptured appendix in 2003 that almost killed him. He had to have a good chunk of his intestine and part of his stomach removed to save his life. That's the reason for the skinny frame and there's probably not much he can do about it.
