From what little I've seen of this show. It's look incredibly fake like most TLC shows. I don't buy these kids were sheltered from the outside world. The parents are creepy grifters who are pandering to hick stereotypes to make money. Micah is hot as fuck though.

I have to watch this show with closed captions on. The father, the mother and Max are easy to understand, but some of the children have unusual ways of speaking.

R10 He and his siblings act no different from any other Christian kids from the South. They go to church and say their prayers around their parents. And then party and have premarital sex. Most homeschooled kids aren't sheltered either. They still play outside, work part-time jobs and many homeschoolers organize field trips, dances and other events. A truly sheltered kid would have a heavier culture shock like those Amish kids or Mormon compound kids.

Also, I've noticed so many straight boys sound "gay" now. That it fucks up people's gaydar.

The father and mother aren't from The South. The kids were raised in Georgia hence they have heavy country accents. That's another proof the show is fake. The kids would have the same accents as their parents. The fact the kids have heavy Southern accents shows they did go to school and played with other kids and interacted with society.

The only interesting part of the series is the parents house.

I’m starting to understand why Ethan loathes his mother. Lydia needs to move away next. Barry seems harmless.
