I think when you're born with wealth, fame and celebrity status that makes you far less ambitious. Celebrity parents usually don't instill discipline or encourage their kids to do anything anyway because they are so busy with their own careers. People who come from historically wealthy families where having money is so normal that it is not their defining personality, they may have ambition, usually they go to school and may even pursue activism or philanthropy.

I can easily imagine rich kids who have self-absorbed and neglectful parents and are passed around from nanny to nanny to have serious emotional problems, lack of empathy and trust issues. Not all kids with nannies are like this if their parents still make efforts to be in their children's lives and take time from work to nurture and discipline their kids.

Years ago I saw Lourdes and her father (Carlos Leon) having dinner together at Shake Shack on the upper west side. He was gorgeous. She was probably 11 or 12 and I remember the bitchy energy just radiated off her even back then.
