AFL-CIO President Trumka is dead to me.

Dead at 72.

That was a damn good man. Hearing about his death was painful.

RIP

Not good

by Anonymousreply 2August 5, 2021 8:37 PM

It’s not good when a good person dies, no. But we have survived worse, R2.

by Anonymousreply 3August 5, 2021 8:47 PM

Just two letters off, God.

His last tweet was all about Mighty Joe Biden and his crusade for the working man:

Sad. He's the voice we needed now.

Unions have been pummeled so badly since the 80s. Very sad for all of us.

Reminds me of so many guys I knew growing up - old miners and steel workers.

Why didn’t anyone tell me he was a hot daddy?

by Anonymousreply 7August 6, 2021 1:41 AM

So, do all guys with surnames ending in —ka have to look the same?

Any nude photos?

by Anonymousreply 9August 6, 2021 2:30 AM

He had a hot ass, but he couldn’t live forever.

by Anonymousreply 10August 6, 2021 2:31 AM

Where’s the respect? This was an important fucking man here. There is to be no more funny business.

by Anonymousreply 11August 6, 2021 2:34 AM

R5, then it must have been sad for him to see Biden's plummeting poll numbers.

by Anonymousreply 12August 6, 2021 3:18 AM

Was he an organ donor?

by Anonymousreply 13August 6, 2021 3:30 AM

[QUOTE] then it must have been sad for him to see Biden's plummeting poll numbers.

It’s sad for any Democrat. Joe is not handling things as well as he could, unfortunately. And wokeism among Democrats is dragging everyone else down.

R8 I thought he resembled Ditka as well!

by Anonymousreply 15August 8, 2021 12:19 AM

Trumka briefly was a genuine reformer coming to prominence unseating the President of the United Mine Workers who had a rival labor leader AND his family murdered. But he found it more profitable to go along to get along. Particularly since he took over the AFL-CIO on every test he put the Democratic Party before the blue collar union workers.

No loss. He will be seamlessly replaced by another just like him.

What can I say? I wanted him in me. Deeply.
