Daniel Radcliffe Amazing Dance Number

I love him, because he'll do anything. This clip is from his show Miracle Workers on TBS. He's got skills and is very sexy for a short guy.

He's got a great body.

He's a fantastic dancer--the best part of his stint in "How to Succeed" was his dancing.

by Anonymousreply 1August 4, 2021 5:48 AM

He would probably have had a bigger career in gay porn as a piggy bottom that never gets hard.

by Anonymousreply 2August 4, 2021 6:25 AM

What the fuck is this show?

by Anonymousreply 3August 4, 2021 6:56 AM

Yes, he will do anything. This is hysterical.

Rofl!

How has he not yet won an Emmy for this show???

Daniel is fantastic. And he sings, too!

by Anonymousreply 5August 4, 2021 4:02 PM

Hawee Pottah.

by Anonymousreply 6August 4, 2021 4:07 PM

Holy shit. That gave me everything I needed today. Daniel is brilliant. I started seeing his theatre work before I watched the Potter films, and I was impressed enough to eventually check them out. He's just so damn good and likable.

by Anonymousreply 7August 4, 2021 4:09 PM

I like him and his work, but I get a subtle feeling from him he thinks he's the best thing on earth, followed only by sliced bread.

by Anonymousreply 8August 4, 2021 4:17 PM

Oh, I disagree. I think he's a bundle of anxiety, and that's why he developed a drinking problem.

by Anonymousreply 9August 4, 2021 6:13 PM

I agree with r9, and disagree with r8.

I think he's been a nervious wreck haunted by the fears that many child stars havr that he was only appealling as a child. that's why I'vr been so impressed he;s worked so hard since the HP series ended to develop his skills and become a better performer.

He will always have a tough road as an actor since he's so short. But if Elijah Wood has been able to find a niche for himself in adult films (small, and low-profile, but he does work steadily), I think Radcliffe will too. It helps he can do stage work successfully, and also now that he has such a good body--and that he can sing (OK, not great) and dance (much better).

by Anonymousreply 10August 4, 2021 6:35 PM

I have a HP Series 5200 Laserjet!

by Anonymousreply 11August 4, 2021 6:39 PM

I can't get this song out of my head!

Rofl.

by Anonymousreply 12August 5, 2021 12:37 AM

I have a lot of respect for him and his acting choices. He’s got a quirky sense of humor; Miracle Workers really shows that off.

by Anonymousreply 13August 5, 2021 2:53 AM

I think he is so cute. I need to lick every blade of hair on his body.

by Anonymousreply 14August 5, 2021 2:56 AM

He's had a good career playing against type (the "anti-Harry Potter") and succeeding.

by Anonymousreply 15August 5, 2021 3:00 AM

I'd hit it.

by Anonymousreply 16August 5, 2021 3:01 AM

Miracle Workers is a fantastic show.

by Anonymousreply 17August 5, 2021 3:43 AM

His "how to succeed" work was pretty good.

Thanks for posting that, r18. He really lacks self-consciousness when he's performing. I know he's straight, but I love him. I can't believe he didn't get a standing ovation at the Tony's!

by Anonymousreply 19August 5, 2021 4:53 AM

What does Tony possess?

by Anonymousreply 20August 5, 2021 5:03 AM

I know, I know. Lo ciento.

by Anonymousreply 21August 5, 2021 5:08 AM

*siento

Now I'm mortified.

by Anonymousreply 22August 5, 2021 5:09 AM

R18 Triple threat.

by Anonymousreply 23August 5, 2021 5:17 AM

He's adorable.

by Anonymousreply 24August 5, 2021 6:46 PM

I love a hairy twink!

by Anonymousreply 25August 5, 2021 8:07 PM

Wasn't he passed around a decade or so ago by the 'lovie set' which included Stephen Fry & Kevin Spacey. I'm sure they showed Daniel lots of tricks.

by Anonymousreply 26August 6, 2021 10:58 AM

He's straight?

by Anonymousreply 27August 6, 2021 11:03 AM

Miracles Worker? Did he play Helen or Annie?

by Anonymousreply 28August 6, 2021 11:29 AM

This is one of my favorite videos now!

When I need a good laugh, I just play this and I have an instant smile on my face.

It is SO silly!!

I love the name of the bar. "Devil's Taint." Rofl.

by Anonymousreply 29August 6, 2021 4:07 PM

[quote] Wasn't he passed around a decade or so ago by the 'lovie set' which included Stephen Fry & Kevin Spacey.

Daniel Radcliffe has more money than both of those losers.

Even 10 years ago, he had more money than they did.

So I highly doubt that story is true.

Daniel doesn't need to do favors for anyone, any more. Financially, he's set for life.

by Anonymousreply 30August 6, 2021 4:09 PM

Bullshit, R26. Only in your fantasies.

by Anonymousreply 31August 7, 2021 1:07 AM

I can't stop watching this!!!

The part where he does that thing with his arms then blows a kiss, is fucking hilarious!!!

I love Daniel!

by Anonymousreply 32August 8, 2021 3:20 AM

R31 R26 Is telling it like it was.

by Anonymousreply 33August 8, 2021 10:09 AM

In a way, he reminds me of a latter day Mickey Rooney.

Both had success as child stars and parlayed that early success into memorable, daring roles roles afterward.

I hope I see intrepid Daniel tackle many varied roles that interest him in the years ahead.

He embodies the spirit of a great trouper -- the show is the thing!

by Anonymousreply 34August 8, 2021 10:53 AM

I saw the first season, but then forgot about the show. Imagine my surprise that this is a clip from its third season. I am completely out of the loop when it comes to the PR of shows I watch (to avoid spoilers, but I guess I miss out on even more, like airing dates for new seasons and episodes).

by Anonymousreply 35August 8, 2021 11:09 AM

His work in H2S is even more amazing if you consider that the director/choreographer really put him through the ringer. That number is not suppose to be a big dance number. Notice that in the dance portion of the original, Finch moves to the back and only that dancing chorus does the heavy lifting. The vast majority of the song is "movement" rather than dance in the original, and the first dance break in the Radcliffe production doesn't exist in the original.

Anxiety pours from this man's soul. He's wound tighter than Meghan McCain's twat.

by Anonymousreply 37August 8, 2021 11:34 AM

The choreography for the revival's" Brotherhood of Man" is embarrassingly awful. The movements seem to have been placed at random, with many totally out of place with the music and lyrics.

by Anonymousreply 38August 8, 2021 11:46 AM

Thanks for posting this, OP. For some reason I was under the impression that Miracle Workers had been cancelled after season 2, so I am glad to see it is back.

by Anonymousreply 39August 8, 2021 12:24 PM

What daring roles was Mickey Rooney in later life?

The Japanese man in Breakfast at Tiffanys?

Bill?

Yeesh

by Anonymousreply 40August 8, 2021 4:17 PM

Not sure about Rooney but fairly Radcliffe did Equus in 2007 during the Harry Potter years and to their credit, Warner's supported him. Post-Potter, he did a nude gay sex scene as Allen Ginsberg in Kill Your Darlings (2013), followed by other edgy roles.

Mickey was homely and obese.

Daniel is handsome and ripped.

by Anonymousreply 42August 8, 2021 4:45 PM

Daniel is pretty much the only actor of his generation who reminds me of Robert Downey Jr. in being someone who will dive head-first into a role and devil take the consequences.

Now whether he's driven by the same demons, I have no idea. I feel like Daniel is more tense than Robert was but possibly less depressed in his "down" moments. Plus he doesn't seem to have addiction issues.

It's also true that Daniel opened his career in childhood with a franchise and Robert wound down his middle age with one.

by Anonymousreply 43August 8, 2021 5:02 PM

[quote] Plus he doesn't seem to have addiction issues.

He's a recovering alcoholic.

by Anonymousreply 44August 8, 2021 5:19 PM

Oh, R44. Wasn't aware of that. That's too bad.

by Anonymousreply 45August 8, 2021 5:20 PM

TBS showed a marathon of Miracle Workers earlier today, and it was hilarious!

This particular episode was especially funny.

The cast is really great.

I didn't realize that both Steve Buscemi and Daniel Radcliffe are credited as Executive Producers.

And even Lorne Michaels is an Executive Producer for this show!

by Anonymousreply 46August 8, 2021 8:29 PM

Love him so much.

by Anonymousreply 47August 8, 2021 8:30 PM

The person up thread who called him a trouper is so right. I’ve seen him onstage a couple of times, in “The Cripple of Inishman” (he was excellent) and in “How to Succeed.” He wasn’t the best singer or dancer but he threw everything he had into it and it was so joyous to watch. You can tell he’s a team player not a diva. Good on him.

I love “Miracle Workers” seasons 2 and 3; I thought the first season was just ok.
