What seems to have happened is that for almost the last year, Bret's been serializing his latest book on his podcast. There's been lots of talk about how brilliant it is by fans of Bret, which seems to have caused Todd to have a problem.

Brett's career's been in something of a lull. And that's been the case for most of the time they've been together. But Todd started freaking out when The Shards started to look like it might be something very successful.

The last few weeks has just been a laundry list of insanity. And all played out on the internet. He's been getting into Brett's address book and calling people while live streaming. And saying ugly crazy shit.

He went on a tweet spree on July 24th around 3am PST. I happened to be up. Those rants were about how poorly he and Bret were being treated, how he (Todd) was being called a crackhead and that people were telling Bret to break up with. Bret Easton Ellis has finally thrown his boyfriend of 11 years OUT of their apartment.

In the past few weeks, Todd has been calling people in Bret's roledex, saying outrageous shit, got a visit from the police for falling asleep in the elevator, played loud music out on the balcony at 6am on Sunday morning, and accused Bret of murdering a previous boyfriend.

Todd was offline for a few days, and popped up the other day. Now he's in a cheap, Motel 6 looking motel. I really hope he gets the help he needs.

Not sure about California law but where I am you cannot just throw him out like that. He has tenant's rights.
