Remember Comic Relief? Whoopi Goldberg, Robin Williams & Billy Crystal hosted up a bunch of other comedians to raise money for the homeless? It was a big deal to watch that show on HBO. Star studded, it was. Then it went away. Was homelessness solved in the US? The UK still has Red Nose Day with lots of stars doing comedy for charity on a specific day. In the US, I see Red Nose Day advertised on Walgreens ads, that’s about it.
Whatever Happened to Comic Relief, US Version?

Comic Relief (USA) founder Bob Zmuda folded Comic Relief into the much larger in scope The Tahoe Institute, whose focus is on "wildlife conservancy, animal rescue and aiding organizations that provide health care and housing assistance to the needy." Zmuda is now in his 70s and the likelihood of him relaunching Comic Relief is almost nil, unless he hands over the reins to younger organizers.

In all these years it’s only raised $50M, which is a drop in the bucket. Donald Trump raises $100M from dopes every time he sends an email and it’s not even for a good cause.

OP = Yes. It is solved. Now cities like L.A. and Portland just dole out millions in taxpayer dollars for the (not lazy) Homeless so they have plenty of gift cards for food and clothes and apartments. And miraculously so many homeless can still afford meth and weed and cigarettes...

Everyone is selfish these days OP. If it can't be used on social media to gain a million more followers overnight, forget about it.

SJWs will take offense at all of the performers, as they write down everyone's routine, looking for something that they can claim victimizes someone or something and pull the cancel culture card. The whole show will be literal violence.
