Child support and alimony are not based on sex anymore, but on income. The higher income spouse subsidizes child support and at times spousal support. This is not based on blame because it's no-fault divorce. People who support equal rights should welcome a development like this. Finally we don't really know what's going on with the prenup or the divorce itself.

At the time they married, she was arguably the one with the lesser income. She was doing well as an artist but she hadn't yet parlayed that into the gigs like she has now. This also isn't about "what's owed to him according to the law" because there is no LAW about what is owed to a spouse in a divorce. Besides, if it were truly about the law then the prenup would have clearly articulated "what's owed to him according to the law," but he's fighting the prenup he signed.
