Very talented, very funny. More range than expected. However, she was unattractive.

Eventually, both she and Catherine went way too far with plastic surgery. But they were old and wanted to keep working.

I don't know what you're talking about, OP. Andrea Martin has worked steadily and her career arc is very similar to O'Hara's.

Not generically pretty/blonde like CO, AM comes across as more ethnic, hence more limited character roles. Great voice and live performer.

Andrea Martin and Catherine O'Hara are both geniuses.

Apparently they get along great. Two of the funniest actors live from the last fifty years, and they were lucky enough to work together at a young age.

With the exception of the Chris Guest mockumentaries (and I guess Schitt’s Creek - although I’m not a fan), I would say that Catherine O’Hara’s talent has largely been wasted in Hollywood.

Relegating the creator of Lola Heatherton and Sue “Bopper” Simpson to mother roles in the Hone Alone movies, for example.

At least Andrea has been able to be outrageously funny in her stage and TV career.
