Look, I get that maybe there's no pressing need to "define" yourself. I just don't see the fear. This generation is both so fearful of labels on the one hand -- and freak out if they have one put on them that they didn't cosign, but then double down on other labels and insist that you recognize those labels as "living their truth" and you're a monster if not.

It's weird because being "gay" is so much less of a big deal generally than it previously was (note: I say that knowing that people still suffer negative consequences for being gay.
