He said we could be back to square one by fall with more lockdowns .

Someone please throw some Holy Water on it. Watch it melt as the stench of sulfur fills the air.

"Gonna"? How folksy.

His hair is plumped out. He's had something done to it since I saw him last.

The thing of it is, the damage is done; the people who aren't getting vaccinated are doing so because they believe the government planting a chip in them or it's the mark of the beast. Moreover, because a lot of military people are crazed right wing loons, large numbers of military personnel are refusing to be vaccinated. All because of the lied & idiocy the GOP helped promote. So if you think the vaccine is the mark of the beast, are you really going to listen to Mitch - who is HATED by Dear Leader?
by Anonymous | reply 5 | July 21, 2021 11:02 AM |
Mitch, you evil motherfucker, it's too late for the Deplorables! Unless your name is Donald Trump DON'T TELL THEM WHAT TO DO!
I hope the holdouts in the communities of color can be convinced, though.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | July 21, 2021 12:09 PM |
indeed, this is on their heads. no one on the left (at least this time) refused the vaccine for political gain.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | July 21, 2021 12:15 PM |
If anyone, even people in the " communities of color," refuses to get the vaccine, then no sympathy for them if they get it. I would only feel sorry for those they inadvertently infect. It's to the point of being ridiculous.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | July 21, 2021 12:22 PM |
lately they have been getting vaccinated. it's more the die hard conservatives in the south and midwest who aren't
by Anonymous | reply 9 | July 21, 2021 12:24 PM |
Once again the GOP didn't think ahead and realize that an unvaccinated populace would affect corporations and therefore the markets. They also didn't seem to realize that their voting base would be the ones dying off, which everyone else saw coming from a mile away, but the Repigs somehow didn't.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | July 21, 2021 12:25 PM |
I wish Mitch was unvaccinated and attending many superspreader events amongst his hillbilly constituency. Oh well.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | July 21, 2021 12:26 PM |
mitch thought he was in the clear but is now worried again that he is going to catch it even though he's vaccinated. No matter who tells any of these people to get vaccinated, that train has left. They know Trump has been vaccinated along with all the other republicans and it doesn't matter to them anymore. They are not getting the vaccine.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | July 21, 2021 12:27 PM |
insane
by Anonymous | reply 13 | July 21, 2021 12:30 PM |
Mitch and the Republicans could care less about if the average American gets vaccinated or not.
This is strictly CYA territory, so when the lawsuits start flying, McConnell, and Rupert Murdoch and his henchman (Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson) can all claim they urged people to get vaccinated.

What's with the sudden about-face by all thse right-wingers? First the assholes on FOX news and now turtle face are admonishing people to get vaccinated. What changed?

Maybe there are seeing predictive data that we can’t see.
Maybe this is going to wipe out millions of deplorables.

They're thinking this will have an effect on the midterms, which they're fixated on. Deplorable voters dying off or at least becoming demoralized. That and the markets.

In addition, it's likely hampering the recovery of red states; if NY or MD was negatively impacted, Repigs would be urging everyone *not* to get vaccinated
by Anonymous | reply 19 | July 21, 2021 12:49 PM |
Frankly, we need more deplorables to die. So we need to start a disinformation campaign of our own to convince deplorables the vaccine causes people to become communists like Gates, Biden, et al wanted.

The stock market tanked because of the surge in COVID cases in red states. Turtle is only looking out for corporate interests, institutional investors and the 1%.

Mitch may be slip-sliding away a bit sooner than anticipated. He may not make it to the mid-terms. Thoughts and prayers as always.

Because he already has 13 life-threatening illnesses. Someone go cough on him.
