Joe Biden Appointing More Federal Black Women Judges Than Any Other President

Interesting that all three of Biden's confirmed picks to the federal bench have been black women. He is presumably laying the groundwork for nominating one of them if there is a vacancy on the Supreme Court by giving them federal court experience (which 8 of the current 9 Supreme Court Justices had before their appointment).

Biden is something special. He's righting as many wrongs as he can. LBJ did this too. Great men seize the moment. Obama was cute with a great wife. Don't sleep on old Joe. He's reconfiguring society. There isn't much time left and he knows it.

Yes R2, justice is totally blind. Which is why about 70% of Trump's judicial appointments were white men. Because justice is totally blind.

Let's hope that isn't why he's appointing them. Let's hope they are also well qualified for the job.

I realize it's not the same as choosing a brain surgeon based on race or sex but it gets close.

10 of Trump's judicial appointments were rated not qualified by the ABA. So far all of Biden's have been rated qualified or highly qualified. But yeah, sure, suddenly we're worried about qualifications and affirmative action after Trump was appointing mediocre white men in numbers double their percentage of the population.

Find me the threads/posts fretting about Trump appointing white men who might be unqualified but he's just appointing them as affirmative action for white men.

There are CURRENTLY 47 African American female judges on the bench out of 229 total African American judges currently sitting. (well, as of end of 2020).

There are actually currently 887 federal judges appointed under Article III.

There certainly need to be more female judges but AA judges are well represented.
