Which of these movie musicals will be the biggest flop?

I mean, they're all going to be flops. But which will be the biggest one?

Yet we’re stuck with no viable alternative to LucyMAME other than the non-musical [italic]Auntie Mame[/italic].

Hasn’t In the Heights opened to great reviews?

"Dear Evan Hansen" will be loved by the Gen Z/later Millenial set. And they already love it. And it's got the original guy doing it. So I think that one's fine.

"In The Heights" probably wanted to be bigger, but little controversy aside, it's probably safe enough.

I think "West Side Story" has a massively tall order to fill. The original is not only a classic, but one of the greatest, most revered films of all time. There's simply no way even the best work by the best can top, let alone live up to, that.

"Ethel Mae Potter - We Never Forgot Her" is simply untouched...and unmatched. They wouldn't dare.

I saw Ethel Mae Potter - We Never Forgot Her on a double bill with Lucy-Mame. The contrast was startling! One of America's greatest comediennes in a show that simply couldn't contain her talent and beauty...

And the other had a wrinkled, old frog croaking through costume changes...

Is it? Who reveres the original? I think I may have seen it once. I wouldn’t consider it anywhere near the same league as The Wizard of Oz, or Gone With the Wind, or Showgirls.

You’re right. Natalie Wood never could’ve played Mammy.
