I just had more melanoma removed, and I never was a huge fan of tanning when I was younger (am 40 now). Please don’t do it!

Tanning may look good if not overdone but is nonetheless dangerous.

I never liked the idea of laying out in the sun to tan, and tanning beds horrify me. If I get a little sun while hiking, and/or swimming (while wearing at least SPF 50-80) then fine. But I'm not actively seeking it.

Tanning really seems to be a boomer thing. I see tons of well-tanned boomer aged men at the golf course near my house.

I never knew tanning went out of fashion. Look at any hot guy or girl and they are usually tanned. I have light skin but when I used to spend hours in the sun I had dark skin and a lily white ass.

I spent decades tanning and now a decade (at least) dealing with the side effects. I recently went with a group to PV. I didn't want to spend each day laying out at the beach, so I got a spray tan a couple days before I went. I still went to the beach every day but sat under the palapa. My "tan" did not look any different than anyone else's.
