Anybody watch his food reviews on You Tube? I love his old fashioned style and he is calming to listen to before bed.

He's great. As you say, kind of soothing. I like his very subtle sense of humor, and his reviews aren't shabby either. He's also a big time shortwave/international radio geek which is a whole other aside from the food review thing. Super nice guy.

He's hilarious in a neurotic Jewish sort of way. He almost reminds me of a young Woody Allen with his barely tangential ramblings. The sandwich looks quite substantial!

In my experience I found out that nerds and geeks were hung. Of course I would chat them up with nerd catnip: MMOs, Python programming, classic Star Wars.
Those were things I was genuinely interested in, so they knew I wasn't a poseur.
