What's Dl's favorite recipe for raw tuna?

A friend of mine recently went fishing in the Cali seas and brought back over 300 pounds of tuna fish. He gave me lots of it for free and I have no idea what to do with it.

OP here. It was frozen the day it was caught, I just defrosted some.

Simple is best: raw with good soy sauce (higeta honzen is excellent) and real grated wasabi (if you have access to a good Japanese market like Mitsuwa).

Tuna tataki (seared tuna with ponzu sauce) is delicious and easy to make. There are tons of recipes online.

Then perhaps you shouldn't ask about recipes for RAW TUNA.

by Anonymousreply 12July 15, 2021 11:54 PM

R12 You DO realize that there's canned tuna as well, don't you? I didn't want recipes for canned tuna, that's why I asked for raw tuna recipes.

You should have specified "fresh tuna" in that case, you imbecile.
