$55 mill.
I wonder how much cock that house has seen...

R1 Gurl you know it’s true
by Anonymous | reply 2 | July 13, 2021 9:03 PM |
I don't like the house but I'd take it for the view and sex vibe.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | July 13, 2021 9:04 PM |
I can’t get my head around a home ever being worth that much money. Incredible.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | July 13, 2021 9:04 PM |
I'm pretty sure that was formerly Rudolph Valentino's home...

For some reason I expected a 1970s horror. Not much Rock remains besides some dried cum in the bathroom corner.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | July 13, 2021 9:06 PM |
It was bought by Paul Allen after RH died and presumably updated.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | July 13, 2021 9:12 PM |
I like it and would buy it if I had a spare $55 mil in the seat cushions of my couch.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | July 13, 2021 9:15 PM |
Is this the home that can be seen in the roddy McDowall videos? If so it doesn’t really look how it did when rock lived there.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | July 13, 2021 9:27 PM |
How did he have that much money ?
by Anonymous | reply 10 | July 13, 2021 10:05 PM |
Eh not that nice inside.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | July 13, 2021 10:11 PM |
He probably paid under 300k when he bought it, this is way over priced
by Anonymous | reply 12 | July 13, 2021 10:20 PM |
Seems like there are lots of photos missing. Beautiful property ... my favorite part was the cinema room. There's a pool and tennis courts ... I guess the only thing missing is the stables.

Why did one person need a 24,000 square foot house?😳
by Anonymous | reply 14 | July 13, 2021 10:32 PM |
GIRLS, there’s been A LOT of Pillow Talk in that house.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | July 13, 2021 11:22 PM |
Is the the house where almost gave Krystle the AIMS?
by Anonymous | reply 16 | July 14, 2021 12:05 AM |
R14 - well, I guess Rock had LOTS of company over the years. But I wouldn't know what to do with this or any of the other Tasteful Friends estates. Unless I had a family of ten or more with me. But just me and my two friends visiting me once a year - a little bit too much.

Have they removed the nacreous layer of permacum?
by Anonymous | reply 18 | July 14, 2021 1:22 AM |
All that piss made the trees grow so lush.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | July 14, 2021 4:29 AM |
The studio purchased the home for him as part of his salary.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | July 14, 2021 6:32 AM |
The house is less than half the square footage. There's a guest house, pool house, recording studio, and staff quarters. What I assume is the recording studio building looks very commercial--like a bank building lobby. Granted people with 55M can afford it, but the property looks like perpetual maintenance on an expensive scale--all that concrete and exterior tile, stucco, terra cotta on the roof, the stairs, and even w/o an earthquake, a lot of places for cracking.
The studio probably bought it as a tax dodge for him and for them, given the marginal tax rates of the time.

This is not the original estate. Hudson's home was bulldozed in 1987. This is the mega mansion that was built in it's place . Hudson's rather modest home was a low key Mexican hacienda he dubbed The Castle. Rock died their in 1985 The sculpture of the boys was purchased by a fan and was for many years in the front lawn of a mansion on Sunset Blvd. Use to pass it daily.

Did we really need a photo of the toaster oven?

Real estate agents lie like dogs. Lazy dogs lying in a pile. Take the first line of the listing:
[quote] An extraordinary 3.2-acre hilltop estate
And yet when I do the math (oh yes bitches) I find that the 107,732 square foot lot is only 2.47 acres.
Who polices these fools and their outlandish claims?
by Anonymous | reply 25 | July 14, 2021 1:19 PM |
'John Landis bought Rock Hudson's house. So afraid was he of contracting AIDS from there he bulldozed the entire thing and built a new house on the site.' Allen bought it from Landis, added parcels, the tennis court, etc.

I've read RH had a $22 million estate at the time of his death. Was he well invested and was all if that from his film career?
by Anonymous | reply 27 | July 14, 2021 9:11 PM |
Probably more from investments than acting. He probably made more in television than he ever did in the movies.

R28Hudson's long time manager during his peak earning years Henry Willson robbed him blind. Henry threatened to out his most famous client if Hudson ever dumped him. Rock finally did and found out Universal Studios held the mortgage on his home. He had to fork over millions to keep his beloved Castle. McMillian & Wife really did provide him with financial security.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | July 15, 2021 4:22 PM |
Henry Willson was a spent force by the time the house was bought and didn't continue much longer with Hudson.
