The racist tweets (in American racist lingo, not British) seem very out of place on his feed, so it's possible his account was hacked.

Either way, the fact that arrests are swiftly being made and the racist comments have been unanimously condemned in England is a good thing.

Even if they really felt that racism was a problem, they could simply have stepped down, led a private life in the US, with occasional appearances for specific purposes.
