He was a former bodybuilder, too
I know a few DLers have expressed admiration for him over the years!
RIP

He lived a good long life. We should all be so lucky. Frankly, I'm surprised he was still living.

Well, at least Teddy isn’t around for this one. I don’t know if his old heart would’ve been able to handle the death of his nephew.

[quote] Smith died Monday at the Motion Picture & Television Country House and Hospital in Woodland Hills
Man was he destitute? Or just a Poor Man?

That facility he was in is actually great. A lot of industry people - from actors to publicists to composers - spent their final days there.

If memory serves, he raped Miss Kitty.

When you get right down to it, most actors at their core are.
Oh, you said DEStitute.
Never mind.

Will Smith is dead?
by Anonymous | reply 11 | July 9, 2021 10:42 PM |
I wouldn't have know who he was, but I've seen that pic in R3 many times on DL and elsewhere.

Body to die for (sometimes his cock bulge was a co-star); fascinating face...
Had no idea he was a child actor, poet, teacher... and used to frequent Henry Willson's pool parties.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | July 9, 2021 11:08 PM |
I'm sure he only went to those pool parties for the food

I guess you shouldn't judge a book by its cover.

He was working on his Ph.D. but went into acting instead.

R2 Oh Fuck R4 Oh Shit - double fuck. He’s was a fuck’n hottie back in the day
by Anonymous | reply 17 | July 10, 2021 12:26 AM |
He was one of the few still left. So hot in his prime.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | July 10, 2021 12:39 AM |
R18, that's a different 'Bill' Smith.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | July 10, 2021 2:57 AM |
Damn he was HOT in Laredo back in the '60's. I bet one of the oldies channels will run a marathon this weekend or the next.

I loathed Falconetti with the passion of a thousand burning suns as he killed Tom Jordache (Nick Nolte) leaving his son fatherless
Great actor; I remember him for the last episode of Batman.

William Smith was one damn fine man in his day.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | July 10, 2021 7:53 AM |
R22 - wow, I'm picturing Falconetti in her crown of thorns taking a cross and beating Nick Nolte to death with it.

I've seen him in God knows how many movies or tv shows but I remember him most from an unforgettable cameo he did in the tv horror film 'Crowhaven Farm." It happened at the end of the film and I never forgot it.
I thought his most outstanding feature was his smile. It could be so unsettling; a great smile for a villainous character, which he frequently played.

R1 I hate when people say that about me.

I used to seek out any TV show that featured William Smith. Back in those days, TV Guide was indispensable for knowing when to plant myself in front of the tube.
Smith had an awesome physique which the TV show "Laredo" played up as often as possible.
His body was what dreams were made of.

I always picture him topping the rascally, equally hot Peter Brown.
