Have We Ever Discussed the Comedic Talents of Jennifer Coolidge?

I can't believe she dated Chris Kattan for so long. I adore her though. I was introduced to her in Best in Show and I started laughing as soon as I saw her.

She was amazing in Best In Show. "We have so much in common".

Apart from the Christopher Guest movies, Legally Blonde and American Pie movies I haven't seen in much else but it was great to see her in Promising Young Woman.

I just remembered that she played a white woman that decided she wanted to be black on Nip/Tuck and she rapped.

She was the best part of the little-known Keri Russell movie, "Austenland."

"Think about all the people in the world that hang themselves, and then the next day they feel different!"

Beyond the bend and snap what was there?

I manahed a NYC Chelsea salon and she kind of fell in to get her hair done- and she is funny without trying to be funny. She doesn’t walk but “glides” like some sort of smooth chanteuse. I found out later she was actually referred to my boss as he was doing hair for two off Broadway shows at the time.

Why was I under the impression she's a lesbian?

She's fun -and clearly more intelligent than the characters she tends to play.

I did, but it's been a couple of decades so it's fuzzy. I barely remember her character.

Just read a rave about her performance in HBO's upcoming miniseries:

She was in some of the episodes of "Joey" as his agent. The show wasn't as horrific as people like to make it out to be. It was a typical sitcom.

Apparently Joey forgot that she was also Monica and Phoebe's ex-friend Amanda, with the Madonna accent.

Her name is Rita Coolidge and she’s a singer from the 70s not a comedian.

This always makes me laugh out loud...

She just voiced a character in this past Sunday's episode of 'Rick and Morty,' an alien bitch with genitals hanging from her elbows.

She was fantastic in the 2001 Broadway Revival of DL favorite THE WOMEN. Also in that production: Kristen Johnston, Rue McClanahan, Cynthia Nixon, Jennifer Tilly, Mary Louise Wilson, and Julie Halston.

I used to own a vintage clothing shop in DTLA and she came in with a friend once (who ended up becoming one of my friends). She was funny and charming and made my husband (who is built like her) try on clothes to see how they looked. Of all the celebrities who stopped by the shop, she was the best!

She was in the show Party On where she says she hit an acting rival for a part in Cannonball Run II with her car, but it was a small car.

I adore her.

She's no Ann Magnuson.

She was a fucking RIOT in [italic]The Closer[/italic] episode "Dial 'M' for Provenza." And the stellar series cast reacting to her is just as good.

Enjoyed her appearance on Chris March’s short lived Bravo show.

That vulture article is great. I adore Vulture. I am so glad she is getting a role where she is showing all she can do. And I love Mike White. Really looking forward to this one.

In "A Mighty Wind" there is a scene where several characters are humming in honor of a legendary music producer who has died. As they pan across the room, they pass her character who is humming with her mouth open. Funniest thing I've ever seen.

I love her, she's always great fun - except in Promising Young Woman, the character was too straight.

I saw her in Pootie Tang.

r22, IMHO she and Kristen Johnston were the best (and only good) part of that train wreck.

I ran into her in Provincetown. She was staying on the west end. She’s gorgeous in person, not at all cartoonish as she sometimes appears. And she was friendly and sweet.

I was looking through her resume and realized she was in both "The Broken Hearts Club" created by a very young Greg Berlanti and the David Sutcliffe/Antonio Sabato Jr gay film "Testosterone."

And I keep running into this story about her pretending to be twins in order to date two men.

I'm glad to hear that she seems like a lot of fun from people who have met her.

She was sooooo funny as neighbor Sophie in 2 Broke Girls, an underrated sitcom in my opinion. Any time she was on the screen she stole the scene. To this day when its on late night in marathon form I'll keep it on as background while I do other things and then stop to watch whenever I hear her voice

They don't show many episodes of the show in good quality for free anymore, :(. 😖

I’ve never seen her in anything where I didn’t find her absolutely hilarious. I especially loved her in “For Your Consideration,” which I feel doesn’t get enough live. It’s hysterical!

And I say, “Oh, bugger! I feel like a perfect arse.” in my real life thanks to her Friends appearance.
