What is with the White Trash getting tattoos on their faces?

I was grocery shopping yesterday, and from a distance I saw what I thought was a tall, extremely well built black man…but when I got closer I realized it was a white guy with his whole head and arms covered in dark tattoos. His body was amazing, and it looked like under all that shit he probably could have a handsome face. His T-shirt, jeans, and boots looked expensive, too. It was a strange sight.

The arms or legs I can understand. But the face?

This is not a color thing. The first facial tats I saw were on black men. Back then they were more "tasteful" and discreet. Like a single tear under one eye. Sweet.

I don't mind tattoos but have never met a tattooed person who has chosen to ink their face who is mentally well or gainfully employed (outside of musical pursuits or self employed).

I feel badly for them, to be honest. The facial tats are (IMO) their un/under treated mental illness manifesting. Sad.

That is going to look like shit once their skin starts to age, sag and wrinkle.

The first guy I saw IRL with face tattoos was a black pimp in LA who turned our crytsal queens. Face tattoos are trash. I also hate the breast plate tattoo that a lot of white twinks get. It's awful. Stay natural. It's the new fetish. You won't have the option of joining a country club.

They scare old people

I think neck and face tattoos will become more widespread. Now that squares and Karens have tattoos and everyone else has tatted up every other body part, it's the only way to show that you're edgy.

I saw a feature on the 11pm news here in New York last night about how the demand for laser tattoo removal is skyrocketing with end of lockdowns and quarantines.

Face and neck tattoos are an absolute deal breaker for me. I'm always dismayed when I see them.

I know I'm shallow, and it's my problem not theirs, but I wouldn't want to associate with people who have face tattoos on any level at all.

You are not shallow, r14, and it is indeed their problem and not yours.

Even the very best tattoo removals leave scars of of varying degrees that may or may not fade or become less obvious over the years.

Nope. I tend to shop in better places that don’t have badly-tatooed people in them.

I know this woman with a son who is now in his early 30s. I knew him when he was a kid and teenager. Sweet enough kid but kind of strange. He moved away years ago, but was recently visiting and they invited me over. I tried to not show my shock when I saw that he now has a face full of tattoos. Really ugly ones, even as face tattoos go. Words and images. Clearly this guy has been through some things.

If they are already ugly I don't really give a shit what they tattoo, but it just breaks my heart when a really attractive person ruins their appearance with tattoos. No one has ever made themselves better looking by getting a tat.

I doubt that anyone has ever looked at someone and thought "He's/she's pretty hot, but they don't have any tats so I'd have to pass on that".

Would it be more expensive for morbidly obese slobs to get a tattoo, maybe a whole potbelly tattoo? Or the same rates as lean and lithe people?
