R1, they will be going back to court in July 9 but it looks like Angelina has already started a new appeal after this one.

What happened with the appeal?

R4, a lawyer who watched it said a decision should be made within a day but it’s been almost 2 weeks.

I think he should give it up. As hard as it may be, the kids are old enough to decide now. Even if she brainwashed them, there’s not much that can be done now.

He has far more money than she does - he can keep draining her bank account, if she wants to carry on paying lawyers to continue this farce. She's the one much better served by giving up - if the kids love her best, they'll stay with her after they are 18.

Is this about custody or residential parent? She’s the residential parent, the kids live with her, right? And Brad gets every other weekend and a day on the opposite week and certain vacation times etc.? That’s very different than jlint custody where he had an equal say in education, medical care and other stuff. He’s their father, he should never give up on his right to be a dad to his kids.

R14, he shouldn’t give up his rights, but he should give up trying to get joint custody. I know someone in the same situation and at these ages the relationship is not repairable IF the kids are against him. It’s futile. This is particularly true if the other parent actively tries to sabotage the relationship. The best he could hope for is that they soften when are adults.

r15 it would appear so. He was making the proper disclosures up through the end of 2018, which is when Laura Wasser departed as Jolie's counsel. It was 2019 and 2020 that there was a problem - apparently he didn't properly notify her new counsel?

I'd like someone to weigh in on what happens from here. Obvs Pitt will appeal, but what are the chances of the CA Supreme Court taking this up? Also what does it mean for the existing custody ruling, that was recently put in place, does this ruling overturn that automatically. I see Jolie is prancing around Paris with the kids the past few days.
