How do you get over this feeling? I can’t even look at pictures of myself
I feel so unattractive

You could put a lot of work in, have make overs, have surgery, live in the gym.
Or you could do something more worthwhile and learn to like and then love yourself. There is far more to being attractive than conventional beauty.

Step one: Don't post on here about it.
Step two: fix the little things: haircut, lose 10lbs, new outfit. Then see how you feel.

Well, at least you have perfect eyesight, OP.

Lie to yourself. Fake it till you make it.

R3 is a bitch and I love him for it.

I'm just as calm as can be. And you know why? Because my worst suspicions have just been confirmed. My stunning good looks are fading. Oh, the camera does not lie. And that leaves me with only one choice. I am gonna be perfect. I'm gonna be gorgeous. I'm gonna have my tummy tucked and my butt firmed and my breasts raised and my face lifted.

R8 Yes, we have. You’ve posted them along with nudes of your little cocklet. You’re also not European.

Stay off instagram. It works for me

Buy something cute to wear and use that for workout inspiration, try new makeup. It’s all useless you know.

OP, most people are plain-to-unattractive. You have lots of company. Just live your life.
If it's lack of sex and/or love that you're complaining about, again- most people aren't getting laid. And "love" is all about money: no cash, no snatch.

R8 If you're going to troll, try and troll amusingly, because right now you sound dribbling and simple, and this site has a low bar for amusing.

How do you feel about burkas, OP?

The earnest sillies here who rush into giving "helpful advice" to trolls.
I love them.
So stupid.
Right, R2/R8?
Yes indeed.

OP, perhaps sunglasses to add a bit of mystery to your presentation?

Body dysmorphic disorder (BDD) is a mental health problem. If you have BDD, you may be so upset about the appearance of your body that it gets in the way of your ability to live normally. You may find that negative thoughts about your body are hard to control. You may even spend hours each day worrying about how you look. Your thinking can become so negative and persistent, you may think about suicide at times.
Perhaps a trip to the doctor might be in order

R20, ( figure that since 95% of the posters here hate their appearance (with good reason) my advice will be of use to someone.

R3, you’re such a bitch!
Please come sit by me!
by Anonymous | reply 27 | July 1, 2021 9:02 PM |
Binge watch Botched and be grateful you're still sitting on your natural butt and don't have some other terrible problems that people gets trying to be something they are not.
Anyway, you may feel unattractive, a trait that's common with even the most beautiful people, but we all need to find our happy places from the things we do, the people we know, and all the great stuff we can do right now just from being an alive human, like eating tasty food, petting kitties, and reading good books.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | July 1, 2021 9:13 PM |
Wish I knew, dearest OP. I suppose, as others have said, most feel that way at some time in life or eventually, so it makes us human. We all have other great non-image based qualities, too. Maybe you have a sharp mind or a beautiful voice or you’re really good with your hands or you have an eye for design.
For me, it’s tits that are denting my body confidence. At 29 years old, my 34Ds have begun to deflate and sag noticeably. It is depressing me, and really knocking my confidence. Sounds silly, but it’s getting to the point I basically don’t want to be naked anymore, or leave my house without many layers of clothing even in the summer.
So far I’ve read that it’s more or less genetic and inevitable, and once the Cooper’s ligaments loosen there’s basically nothing you can do about it, not even surgery—all you can hope to do is disguise it, by moderately exercising the chest area and trying to stay at a consistent weight (no yo-yo/crash dieting), and wearing good bras.
As a teen I was active and healthy but chubby, so my fat filled out my perkier chest and sat central to my body to create cleavage. I always wished I had smaller boobs, because it would have been less painful and awkward for me to play sports. Now I’ve slimmed down and got older, my tits have gravitated to the sides and turned pendulous (yeah, yeah, laugh it up), and sit halfway down my chest, so I wish I had mozzie bites for aesthetic reasons too. Other more mature women always warn you about the dreaded sag, of course, but nothing prepares you for the horrible shock when it does happen.
