R1 Darker completed people tend to look better than anyone else in bright, or light colors (including white). This is one such example.

Wow, he looks good. And this is the type of style I like on men in these kinds of events, not the boring typical suit.

This is a grand event, they should go all out. They shouldn’t wear boring suits. I love the Billy Porters, the Lil Nas Xs, the Ezra Millers, the Keiynan Lonsdales, etc.

Styles like these are what I would wear to these events if I was a celebrity. I can’t stand the boring suits on men.

I hate Billy Porter's getups. I like this though. He looks good.

Boring is boring, R11, regardless of the garment. Suits and tuxedos themselves are not boring, by nature. In fact, many people underestimate what goes into creating a beautifully designed, constructed, and tailored couture-level suit, or tux. But because they tend to be understated as compared to clothes designed for women, they're deemed "boring", when in fact, they're anything but.

Gender identity and all that aside, I can understand not wanting to wear "another suit", when one does dozens of these appearances per calender year, but I always question taste levels and motives of the people who can wear practically anything, but choose this sort of thing instead.

It's literally in the article. It's a design by Andrea Grossi and the second one is Richard Quinn (I assumed it was Gucci because Alessandro Michele loves a floral print).

When the clothes scream "pay attention to me" I tend to look away.

R24 I don't mind the textile and beading of the second getup, but I HATE the cut of the entire thing. The jacket is ill-fitting, the shape of the lapel is unflattering, and the bell cuffs are weird.

The extreme bell-bottom pants are awful as well. And while various sites online list him as being between 6'1" & 6'2", they still make him look much shorter than what he really is. I wouldn't have liked it anyway, but it would've been far better and far more flattering had the bells not been cut so wide (and the pants not so close to the leg).
