These are relationship-seeking apps but the guys I match with always turn out to be unserious and flakey and noncommittal. I don't know any gay except for Pete Buttigieg who found a serious partner on a gay dating app.

I find it very tough to find men on dating apps too, OP. I see a lot of men swiping right on me but the conversations never happen and even if they do, few go beyond "hey, how's it going". It's incredibly frustrating. I wonder if it's because of my skin color or race (which is not clear at first look).
