Not really an answer to your question, but when you make pasta with sauce, you should make enough sauce to freeze a container of sauce, then you have it the following week. It even tastes better.

I agree your roommate should not have made a similar pasta dish. But if he does you could try just eating the pasta with butter or oil (and maybe some minced garlic that's been cooked in the oil). And not eat the sauce.

He likely gathered the ingredients to prepare his meal before you shared your pasta Bolognese and wasn’t able to whip up an alternative. Rather than rotating meal duty, could you split the planning and preparation to ensure a varied menu? Otherwise, make a toasted cheese sandwich if your can’t have red sauce with mince twice in a week.
