Nina’s daughter was embezzling money.

Yep Nina's daughter sued her father and it became a nasty mess for years and years. Harris did not take anything away from the granddaughter. She needs to get herself a job and not try to live off her grandmother's estate.

Nina's daughter Lisa embezzled from the estate, including a $15M deposit from the estate into her own accounts, and she made a plea deal when she was prosecuted. The deal included giving up the rights to the estate.

If she didn't want to give up the rights to the estate then she shouldn't have agreed to the deal. The granddaughter is looking to cash in on a manufactured scandal and my guess after looking at her photos online is she's already been stripping to pay the bills. There's no shame in that, lots of people are doing Only Fans etc. these days, but she's clearly hoping we all think she's been forced into sex work by evil villainess Kamala Harris. Completely untrue.

It's so depressing that the DL has become an endless list of links to Murdoch properties and the fucking Daily Mail.

I saw this yesterday and couldn’t make heads or tails of it. But I did recognize that this woman is a complete loon and lying her head off.

Nina Simone's daughter was embezzling money from her mother's estate, money that was already stipulated in her will to go to charity.

Maybe the daughter felt she was entitled to that money, but her mother had already stipulated otherwise. If anything, the daughter should have contested the will after her mother's death.

R1 if the same story, word-for-word, appeared in The New York Times you'd want the reporter to receive a Nobel prize.

It is interesting that Nina did not leave Lisa the rights to her work. It only came into her hands later when her father and his second wife died.

So it was NINA HERSELF who gave her rights to her white husband rather than her black daughter.
