WKRP's Herb Tarlek is dead to me!

Dang I was just going to add him to the “Celebrities you are shocked to learn are still alive” thread!

Who knew turkeys couldn’t fly….

I always found him a little hot. Johnny Fever, even moreso.

I know everybody else was hot for Andy, but something about him bugged me despite those stovepipe-legged jeans, which he admittedly filled out quite well.

I have no idea why, but I just thought of this guy a couple days ago. You didn't see him much after WKRP, which seemed odd. I used to confuse him with Fred Willard and Howard Hesseman with Martin Mull (Fred and Martin both being on Fernwood 2 Night).

Frank Bonner (born Frank Woodrow Boers Jr., February 28, 1942 – June 16, 2021), 79, was an American actor and television director best known for playing sales manager Herb Tarlek on the television sitcom WKRP in Cincinnati.

Was it just… natural causes?

Amazingly, he's only the second regular cast member of the series to die. The first was Gordon Jump who played Mr. "Big Guy" Carlson, who died in 2003 at 71.
