First they came for Sir Charles, and I said nothing?

He's never been on Twitter and he explained why he wouldn't use social media just a couple months ago.

I thought if you fit the category you could make the joke.

Yes, HE's fat. I actually like him and think he's funny. However, he should look in the damn mirror.

He is awfully fat and ugly himself for calling all women in San Antonio fat and all women in Georgia "bulldogs."

R10 it’s obvious you’ve never watched Inside the NBA or know much about Charles aside from SJW/ cancel culture tag him as a target. On the show, Chuck (that’s what they call him) and his fatness are constant butt of jokes which he takes in stride. He takes it and dishes it.
Charles is one of the rare athlete, former or current, who still speaks his mind about not just sports but social issues without kowtowing to SJWs. . However, what’s refreshing is that he prefaces his opinions by saying he’s not the authority on these things nor is he intelligent enough to decipher complex issues. He’s just a guy who grew up in Leeds with a mom and grandma who cleaned houses to support the family. He’s expressed gratitude of becoming wealthy by playing a game, it’s why he and Shaq are seen by younger players as harsh when they criticize today’s players for being soft.
As a longtime basketball fan, I don’t agree with Charles on many things but he is a genuine, interesting, and funny person. He wouldn’t have lasted this long as commentator if he wasn’t talented in that area too.
Recently it was revealed by Leeds school district that Charles has been donating his money and time over the years without publicity or fanfare. They only revealed it when he donated money to every single employee during the Covid lockdown. Then of course Charles made the news for his friendship with Lin Wang, a cat litter scientist whom he’d befriended, and whose death led to an article detailing the friendship by Wang’s daughter.

By the way, Chuck has been a big proponent of gay professional athletes and gay rights since way back. He trlls it like it is, any homophobic athlete who says they’ve never played with or don’t want gay teammates in the locker room is “a frickin’ idiot”.

Here's the Shaq vs. Barkley "Shirt Off" contest.

R13 I remember that segment LOL.
Check out Chuck celebrating international no-diet day on the show. As always he’s the butt of fat jokes.
