She could and did the bullying not because it filled a void in an insecure mindset, but because she enjoyed deliberately hurting others. There wasn’t and isn’t remorse until her actions became public and threatened her image as a kind mother who just happened to be SM’s biggest clapback queen.

The only thing that Chrissy could hope for and count on is the Buzzfeed-type coverage which she’s had in the past. Buzzfeed’s audience also fits in with the cancel culture mentality that encourages people to believe everything bad about a person who’s targeted for canceling, without doing due diligence themselves and instead follows blindly a cultish “leader” or prevailing opinion that’s presented as fact.

The comments on the newest Buzzfeed article about Chrissy wishing death upon another celebrity are interesting. Hopefully more of Buzzfeed’s semi-intelligent readers come to the realization of just how insidious cancel culture can be to society.
