that's scary to watch - a nightmare come to life

by Anonymousreply 1June 12, 2021 5:25 PM

Thoughts and prayers.

This is an American web site. We don’t care about this faggy sport.

by Anonymousreply 3June 12, 2021 5:27 PM

He's alive.

by Anonymousreply 4June 12, 2021 5:27 PM

That seems awfully young for a heart attack.

by Anonymousreply 5June 12, 2021 5:29 PM

Why are the twitter twats so thin-skinned to want the clip deleted?

by Anonymousreply 6June 12, 2021 5:36 PM

R6 I don't get it too. It was a live broadcast.

by Anonymousreply 7June 12, 2021 5:39 PM

R4 This means he's not Finnished?

by Anonymousreply 8June 12, 2021 5:44 PM

Isn’t a seizure more likely given his age?

by Anonymousreply 9June 12, 2021 5:45 PM

How sexy is he? Does he need CPR or his dick in my mouth?

by Anonymousreply 10June 12, 2021 5:51 PM

R3 Soccer (Association Football) is way more active, engaging, and energetic than boring, play for 30 seconds then stand around for 10 minutes American Football.

The players are hotter too. Most NFL players are fat.

by Anonymousreply 11June 12, 2021 5:53 PM

Oh he's kinda hot

Can I have his stuff ?

by Anonymousreply 13June 12, 2021 6:00 PM

They didn't need to zoom in on his face while collapsed and also didn't need to show his wife in tears. They cut away in a blink of an eye for a streaker but not for a player that could be dying, stupid assholes.

[quote]They cut away in a blink of an eye for a streaker

Naked bodies are disgusting, but human suffering is a feast for the eyes.

CNN says he's stable.

I thought for sure he had died at first. They were doing CPR with a defibrillator for a long time. Class act for both teams, and the Danes especially for shielding his body from view. I’m glad he’s stable. He was holding his head- and stumbling before he collapsed- I’m wondering if it was a seizure or stroke? I hope he will be ok.

by Anonymousreply 17June 12, 2021 6:59 PM

The game resumed and Finland beat Denmark. Denmark really weren't firing on all cylinders, unsurprisingly.

R5, sometimes silent heart problems manifest suddenly in young athletes.

Without video, this is nothing.

In the70s Dan White, a receiver, got hit hard and had a seizure on the field. The camera stayed on it. That's when I stopped watching pro football.

by Anonymousreply 21June 13, 2021 2:41 AM

A seizure wouldn’t require defibrillation. Your heart doesn’t stop during one.

by Anonymousreply 22June 13, 2021 2:57 AM

MAYBE HE JUST GOT VACCINATED!!!!

by Anonymousreply 23June 13, 2021 3:02 AM

R23 you're joking but imbeciles were really saying this on twitter.

by Anonymousreply 24June 13, 2021 4:13 PM

R22, of course not. They just took him off the field. It was still a rotten thing to see.

by Anonymousreply 25June 13, 2021 5:49 PM

UPDATE: The collapse of star soccer player Christian Eriksen on the field Saturday was worse than first believed.

Denmark’s team doctor said Sunday that the player’s heart stopped and that “he was gone” before being resuscitated with a defibrillator at the European Championship.

“He was gone. And we did cardiac resuscitation. And it was cardiac arrest,” said team doctor Morten Boesen. “How close were we? I don’t know. We got him back after one defib. That’s quite fast.”
