I just had a bisexual tell me that they are a unique and special sexuality and totally different from Lesbians or gays, and that it's offensive to define them by their same-sex attraction, and that they deserve special rights because of their unique and precious situation.
Can someone bisplain to me please? How is a bisexual defined if not by their attraction to both sexes?

Well, it used to be people would define bisexuals as being attracted to both sexes. Now it might be that bisexuals would claim they don’t see gender…?

r4 but bisexual is literally defined as an attraction to both sexes, male and female.
However, it looks like the dictionary definition has been changed recently to refer to "gender", not sex.
