When listing all the 50 US States, which are the one/s you always or mostly forget?

I can't remember.

Delaware.

Anything in the middle

Iowa, yes,. And often Arkansas (but not Kansas). Sometimes Nebraska.

It's some of the state capitols I can't remember anymore. I don't have any problem remembering the states.

Yes, r6, the ones that have a city(cities) that are more well known and you think they're the capitol and they're not. I always remember Pierre and Bismarck, but can't always remember which Dakota gets which.

You also have trouble remembering that a CAPITOL is a building. A CAPITAL is a city.

I knew the states and capitals in second grade.

No one needs to know every state except for California and her future territories like Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Washington, Colorado....etc...etc

OK, without looking it up, who can name the last FIVE states admitted to the Union?

Hawaii, Alaska, New Mexico, Arizona and Oklahoma (off top of my head)

Nebraska. I just never, ever think about that state. Ever. I don't even ever see news items from that Nebraska, come to think of it.

The only five states I haven't visited are: MT, ID, ND, SD, and NE.

SD, NE, KS and KY for me.

I can only do three, r18.

I forget none, I learned all fifty states when I was in grade school and can pick them out on a map without names or borders. I also knew all the countries of the world then, but there have been so many additions and names changes since I would struggle with some in Africa and the former Soviet Union. I can also name all the provinces of Canada and states of Australia.

I have trouble with the Pacific Island countries (Vanuatu, etc), R24.

I couldn't name a single grade school teacher, I only remember things that are important to me.

First names? Not all of them, but most I think.

Some of us are old enough to remember countries on the map like the Belgian Congo, French Equatorial Africa, Ceylon, Rhodesia, Malaya, Tanganyika, British Guiana, etc.

I've managed to meet folks from more obscure African countries like Burkina Faso (I almost wrote Upper Volta), Chad, Congo-Brazzaville and Sierra Leone.

Upon meeting a fellow from Djibouti, I mentioned: "Ah! Terretoire des Afars et Isas!" He replied proudly the HE was an Afar!

I don't even know what NE stands for...what fucking state is that?

If you know geography, it’s pretty easy to picture the map and just list them off as you consider each one’s location. There’s no reason for forgetting one.

Here are 17 states that count for fuck all and would not be much missed*: Arkansas, Idaho, Kansas, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Dakota, South Dakota, Oklahoma, Utah, Wisconsin, Wyoming.

*Not counting states that I dislike and would never want to visit like Texas and Florida, but which have some importance.

The ones that don't allow weed.
