Interesting that "1st Wave Alternative (80s New Wave and Punk)" has a huge lead.

I would have thought Divas would have been much closer if not in the lead.

Picking between 1st & 2nd Wave Alternative was really hard.

I voted for 1st while "Walking Contradiction" is playing in my head.

Pretty much like it all except i can't handle 1) really bad country music! Either twangy or where's my beer and my truck lyrics country music 2) offensive profanity laced rap and 3) really hardcore heavy metal screaming music...

I was surprised that 2nd Wave didn't get more love R16, though that is likely a reflection of the demographic on DL

I listen to almost everything, but the bands I never get tired of are Depeche Mode, New Order, the Smiths, Kate Bush, and most of the other '80s British stuff. I have to be in a particular mood to put on certain other styles.

The things to mashed together under the digusting douchebro EDM do not belong together.

More than anything, I listen to the music of the 50s & 60s, and film scores. Those are my favorites.

I voted for classical, figuring no one else would, but I like '60s/'70s pop/rock equally. And as I type this, classical has gotten slightly more votes.

And I prefer Baroque to classical, OP. Bach was a beast (in the best way possible).

I would place all of that under the "Classical" umbrella R29, given that there is only room for 10 options
