If he does have the.......balls to try and keep that role, will it not be the most blindingly offensive, hypocritical act in recent Hollywood history? After all of this talk and the way he's insisted on making his sex such a big deal, wouldn't it be offensive to female actors to allow him to keep that job, a man playing a female? Has anyone heard what the status of that is?

Do you think the writers were at least a little pissed that they had to spend roughly 1/3 of last season establishing her as a lesbian in the 50s with all that entails, but now they're going to have to switch to "but actually he's always been straight"?

This will tank that series (not that it was a great piece of art anyway). It won't last past this upcoming season.
