How many times a day do you think about grammy nominee Lisa Whelchel?

How many?

by Anonymousreply 29June 3, 2022 3:11 AM

Including seeing this thread? Zero.

by Anonymousreply 1June 5, 2021 9:27 PM

Surprisingly a lot.

by Anonymousreply 2June 5, 2021 9:30 PM

Grammys for Christian music don't count.

by Anonymousreply 3June 5, 2021 9:41 PM

R3 If Grammys for "spoken word" and books on tape count, then Christian music certainly does.

by Anonymousreply 4June 5, 2021 9:43 PM

R4 they dont.

by Anonymousreply 5June 5, 2021 9:44 PM

Who?

by Anonymousreply 6June 5, 2021 9:45 PM

Well, it's the Collector's Call!

by Anonymousreply 7June 5, 2021 9:48 PM

The same number as the grammys she won.

by Anonymousreply 8June 5, 2021 9:52 PM

R5 Then Helen Hayes isn't an EGOT, and neither are John Gielgud, Audrey Hepburn, or James Earl Jones.

Do include comedy records? Or, are they like spoken word? Because if you remove comedy records Mike Nichols and Whoppi Goldberg would lose their EGOT status.

Rita Moreno's Grammy is for Children's music which by your definition I doubt would qualify, so she isn't an EGOT either.

I'm more interested in how many times a day Sister in Christ Lisa Whelchel prays for us godless homos.

by Anonymousreply 10June 5, 2021 11:09 PM

The big Z slash Ro.

by Anonymousreply 11June 5, 2021 11:11 PM

Every time I pour hot sauce down the throat of a bratty child.

by Anonymousreply 12June 5, 2021 11:15 PM

More than you could ever imagine….

by Anonymousreply 13June 5, 2021 11:25 PM

R2 Mindy Cohn?

by Anonymousreply 14June 6, 2021 2:16 AM

Speaking of Lisa and Mindy..... (You were! I wasn't!)

Lisa was on Mindy's podcast a couple weeks ago.

Lisa Whelchel is a CUNT .

by Anonymousreply 16June 6, 2021 1:02 PM

I haven’t in years.

by Anonymousreply 17June 6, 2021 1:48 PM

At least 1 million times.

by Anonymousreply 18June 6, 2021 4:09 PM

Is she still living ??

by Anonymousreply 19June 6, 2021 4:14 PM

Approximately 3 to 5 times. Sometimes more, sometimes less, but usually about 3 to 5.

by Anonymousreply 20June 2, 2022 5:33 AM

Once

by Anonymousreply 21June 2, 2022 6:18 AM

None.

by Anonymousreply 22June 2, 2022 6:35 AM

My late cousin claimed he dated Lisa Whelchel when she was a Mouseketeer.

He was in junior high at the time and lived a couple of blocks from Disney Studios in Burbank.

So I chose to believe him.

Because why not?

And that's the only reason why I think of Lisa Whelchel at all.

by Anonymousreply 23June 2, 2022 7:16 AM

James Earl Jones does not have an EGOT.

by Anonymousreply 24June 2, 2022 7:29 AM

[quote] "James Earl Jones does not have an EGOT."

Correct. The 2011 Oscar wasn't competitive, so it doesn't count. But he'd been nominated before (though being nominated and winning are two different things, as we well know).

Lisa recently admitted to eating "Space Cake" with her adult kids in Amsterdam, a few years ago, while traveling through Europe. And she freaked out a little bit, because she ate too much, thinking it hadn't taken effect, yet (a common, rookie mistake). This is possibly one of the best/funniest things I've ever heard about her.

P.S. "The bigger the hair, the closer to God" ---> that's a Fran Fine quote.

by Anonymousreply 27June 2, 2022 10:14 AM

R24 yes he is only an honorary EGOT, along with Liza, Barbara, Harry Belafonte, and Quincy Jones. What is interesting is, for most of them, the honorary award is from the organization you would have expected them to have won a competitive award from. James Earl Jones and Quincy Jones only have honorary Oscars. Liza's Grammy is honorary and Barbara only has an honorary Tony.

by Anonymousreply 28June 2, 2022 2:46 PM

No, it's not, R27.
