From his quotes about it, it seems like he was wrestling hard with the decision to support it, and was reluctant and torn, so there’s obviously a part of him that really doesn’t believe the brainwashing and wanted to protect his little lesbian daughter. Being a performing artist, I expect that he’s very accepting of LGB.

Kelly’s comment about grief is actually very poignant and sweet to me. The relationship between father’s & daughters, especially gay daughters, can often be fraught and difficult in this misogynistic world.
