What foods can you eat every single day?
Like, you never get tired of it.
For me, it's sausages. Link sausage, sausage patty, Italian sausage, Charisse, etc. I love all sausages!
Another one is dumplings. Especially if there is a dipping sauce. Pierogis, ravioli, chinese dumplings. But they have to be soft.
How about you?

I've been eating yogurt for lunch every day since I was in my late 20s. It's not a hard-and-fast thing, I will eat other things on occasion, but it's such a habit now I can't imagine habitually eating anything else.
|by Anonymous||reply 2||06/02/2021|
coffee with milk, coffee with evaporated milk, cold green tea, banana, flan

And you're not embarrassed to admit it?

Chocolate chip cookie dough
|by Anonymous||reply 7||06/02/2021|
I could eat sushi every day but I can’t afford it. I do have rice every day.
|by Anonymous||reply 8||06/02/2021|

Hope you love colon cancer too, OP.
|by Anonymous||reply 11||06/02/2021|
Coffee (not a can but a must), grapefruit, nuts, cheese of every sort. (Yes, my cholesterol level is not great, but I am slim.)
|by Anonymous||reply 14||06/02/2021|
Every single day, or every single solitary day?
|by Anonymous||reply 16||06/02/2021|
Egg McMuffin, but made at home. It’s my favorite breakfast, just egg & cheese on an English muffin.
|by Anonymous||reply 17||06/02/2021|
Chips/Salsa with tons of cilantro
Key Lime Pie
|by Anonymous||reply 19||06/03/2021|

Oh I do — I eat big heaping spoonfuls of colon cancer every day!
|by Anonymous||reply 21||06/03/2021|
R17 I like mine with a Bay’s English muffin and a nice sausage patty Plus the eggs and cheese. Heaven!

|by Anonymous||reply 24||06/03/2021|
Soft boiled eggs with toast or spinach
Potato and Onion soup from scratch
Pasta with lumpy bolognese - I use beef or chicken
Processed fish tacos - corn tortillas work best
|by Anonymous||reply 26||06/03/2021|
R26 A Ragu Bolognese does not contain chicken. Make it correctly or call it something else.
|by Anonymous||reply 27||06/03/2021|
Back home in the US it was romaine and Trader Joe's Romano Caesar dressing at night with a few slices of Armenian sausage Sujuk my late partner introduced me too. Before his stroke and high blood pressure made it hard for my dad to eat that, I would cook up an omelette with light mozzarella and topped with Sujuk the way my partner used to make when he came over. Now, in Eastern Europe, salads are kind of a once a week thing I eat at a health food place geared towards the more "sophisticated" or religious crowd once a week.
|by Anonymous||reply 28||06/03/2021|
R8 - I fully agree. I too could eat sushi each day but couldn't afford the top quality by far. I used to do spicy tuna rolls and miso soup almost every day at lunch for about a year and loved it.
|by Anonymous||reply 29||06/03/2021|
You will never eat here, R27.
|by Anonymous||reply 30||06/03/2021|
Fruit, salad, bread and butter. I actually do eat this every day.
|by Anonymous||reply 31||06/03/2021|
OP if you eat sausages and dumplings every day I assume you're fat?
I am a big fan of yoghurt - lots of variety
|by Anonymous||reply 32||06/03/2021|
Dim sum, sushi, pizza, yogurt
|by Anonymous||reply 34||06/03/2021|
R32 - we are hoping to host our friend C from Exeter in July. He is a vegetarian and he has, like the two of us, packed on the lbs during the pandemic. He eats vegetarian alternatives to meat and his bitch of a wife lives on sausages and bacon and bread and butter and (now) pudding and beer as do all Eastern Europeans and C was simply saying when he came in 2019 that some people must be genetically wired with faster metabolisms. Certainly those of us who hail from North Western Europe pack it on if we don't watch it and work our after a certain age and, in fact, even younger men and women.

EVERY DAY, R43?
I think that many of you don't understand this thread.
It's about what foods you like so much, that you could eat it every day.
Like a fantasy, not about your regular meals.
|by Anonymous||reply 44||06/03/2021|
in the past, there were periods I could eat a load of cum everyday.
|by Anonymous||reply 46||06/03/2021|
I actually eat oatmeal every day.
Yet, it's not something that I would identify as a food I can eat every single day.
I don't really enjoy it all that much, but it's the best quick breakfast.
|by Anonymous||reply 47||06/03/2021|
Fried aubergines, garlic, tomatoes, spaghetti or linguine, basil, peppers,...
|by Anonymous||reply 49||06/03/2021|
R6 how is this embarrassing? He didn't say how often.
|by Anonymous||reply 50||06/03/2021|
You couldn't have just said EGGPLANT?
|by Anonymous||reply 51||06/03/2021|
Yes, r44, I eat it EVERY day for lunch
|by Anonymous||reply 52||06/03/2021|
Noodles. You just cook it differently - boiled, stir-fried, cold, etc. and serve it with different sauces, toppings, and meats, but the noodles stay constant.
|by Anonymous||reply 53||06/03/2021|
Steel-cut oats are something that I do eat almost every day. Also, coffee with sugar and half 'n' half.
Sushi I could probably eat every day as well. Has no fiber, though.
|by Anonymous||reply 54||06/03/2021|
Pizza, ice cream, cheese.
COULD, but don't.

I could eat scrambled eggs and watermelon every day but I don’t. I wish I could eat a lobster roll every day.
|by Anonymous||reply 57||06/03/2021|
I ate a Shrimp Cup Noodles every work day for lunch, for about 3 years. I still love them but at my age I can't handle that much sodium anymore.
I could eat grilled cheese with ketchup on the side every day or spaghetti and meat sauce with powdered parm. A salad with ranch. Oranges. Avocado toast for breakfast.
|by Anonymous||reply 58||06/03/2021|
French bread or sushi! Bring in the carbs!!!
|by Anonymous||reply 59||06/03/2021|
I know someone who at a tuna sandwich for lunch every work day.
|by Anonymous||reply 60||06/03/2021|
Vienna sausages drenched in Cheese Whiz.
|by Anonymous||reply 61||06/03/2021|
Roti canai and mee goreng
|by Anonymous||reply 62||06/03/2021|
Boiled eggs, two for brekker every day.
|by Anonymous||reply 63||06/03/2021|
Chicken wings. Found a healthier way to make them (air fryer).
|by Anonymous||reply 64||06/03/2021|
Cheese - pretty much any kind
Chicken legs and thighs - grilled, baked, roasted, fried
Fresh fruit, but particularly cantaloupe, watermelon, strawberries and cherries
Oysters on the half shell
Pie - pretty much any kind, sweet or savory.
Potatoes - mashed, baked, whipped, cold potato salad with lots of celery and parsley
Fresh bread and butter
Of course, I've never tried to eat these things every day and suspect I would in fact grow tired of them eventually if I did.

I’m a country boy…strictly cornbread and beans ,garden vegetables, and chicken or fish on Fridays.
|by Anonymous||reply 67||06/03/2021|
Is it possible to eat every single day?
|by Anonymous||reply 68||06/03/2021|
Yeah, bitch, if you'd get off your bony ass and work that glory hole like I told you to.
|by Anonymous||reply 69||06/03/2021|
Porridge with banana or berries. I don’t eat it every day, but I could.
|by Anonymous||reply 70||06/03/2021|
Do you people answering "eggs" not understand the question, or do you seriously love eggs so much that you could eat them every day and never tire of them?
|by Anonymous||reply 71||06/03/2021|
I think I could eat Chicken Tikka Masala with Basmati rice every day for dinner, if only someone would make it for me. No Indian restaurants in my town, unfortunately. I tried making it myself one time and it was a disaster (I can't cook).
|by Anonymous||reply 73||06/03/2021|
If you must eat it, check to see if they sell "simmer sauce" for it at your supermarket. It's foolproof enough that you should be able to manage.
|by Anonymous||reply 74||06/03/2021|
[quote]I know someone who at a tuna sandwich for lunch every work day.
If I recall correctly, the opening sentence of Gilda Radner's very depressing autobiography, "It's Always Something" is, "I'm the type of person who has eaten a tuna salad sandwich for lunch almost every day of my life."
It tells you a lot about a person.
|by Anonymous||reply 78||06/03/2021|

OP, you type fat.
|by Anonymous||reply 79||06/03/2021|
I’d stick with bread and butter. Sometimes toasted, sometimes not. Fantasy? No, but if I had to choose something I had to eat every day, it’d be bread and butter.
|by Anonymous||reply 80||06/03/2021|
I don't get compulsive butter spreading.
|by Anonymous||reply 81||06/03/2021|
Lettuce and thinly sliced tomato on white toast with mayonnaise.
I’ve had it for dinner two nights in a row.

Who’s this fat and frantic Queen who thinks that nobody except for her understands this thread and everybody else is not giving the right answers.
Guess what, sugar plum? Some people love eggs, fruits, salads, and even vegetables and they want to eat those things every day. And some posters love healthy things AND they eat those foods every day. I know, mind blowing idea, but not everybody dreams about Whoppers with Ranch dressing!

R71 yes I eat eggs with toast for breakfast every single day.
|by Anonymous||reply 86||06/03/2021|
My mom ate eggs (over easy) and buttered toast quite often for breakfast. Plus coffee.
|by Anonymous||reply 87||06/03/2021|

I have mastered the egg. Boiled, poached, fried, scrambled, and omelete. Plus know how to make holandaise.
|by Anonymous||reply 92||06/06/2021|
Asparagus omlettes with hollandaise?
|by Anonymous||reply 93||06/06/2021|
R4, when you say coffee with evaporated milk, do you mean coffee with sweetened condensed milk? Evaporated milk is just canned whole milk with half the water removed (which can be reconstituted by adding an equal amount of water), whereas sweetened condensed milk has had 60% of the water removed and some huge amount of sugar added. Sweetened condensed milk is what's added to Vietnamese iced tea or coffee, which is divine!

R51, in England, eggplant is called aubergine -- just as zucchini are called courgettes. It's not snobbery, just convention.

|by Anonymous||reply 98||06/06/2021|
I have a six-pack of donuts every morning. Do donuts count as carbs? I wash them down with a giant Diet Mountain Dew.
|by Anonymous||reply 100||06/06/2021|
In the morning, two small Fiestaware size cups of coffee with Half & Half and an English muffin or half a bagel. I cannot eat a full breakfast in the morning.
I've worked from home over 5 years. I don't eat lunch unless I'm hungry. Mid-afternoon, I usually eat a yogurt and a fruit. The Noosa yogurt is delicious! Noosa tastes more like a dessert than a yogurt. The Yoplait Oui yogurt is also great.
|by Anonymous||reply 101||06/06/2021|
Pasta & meatballs, with homemade sauce.
Freshly made pizza.
Antipasto with fresh baked Italian bread.
A great meatball sub with mozzarella.

Surely some of you are full of shit.

|by Anonymous||reply 107||06/07/2021|
R103, the topic is what CAN you eat every day, not what DO you eat every day.
I could eat french fries every day and never get tired of them but the reality is that I only eat them a few times a year because they are unhealthy.

Chicken fried rice. But I haven’t had that in years. I sure miss it. Especially the type with the cubed chicken. Delicious.

I like eating a BIG salad every day. This is the main meal that I eat every day actually. I do intermittent fasting and eat between certain hours of the day, right now it’s between 11am-6pm.
Big salad: 2 servings Sprouts organic baby super greens mix, 1 serving Trader Joe’s baby kale, 1 serving shredded carrots, 1 serving shredded broccoli slaw, 1 serving shredded cabbage slaw, cherry tomatoes, 1 avocado, 2 hard boiled eggs (Happy Egg Company Heritage Breed free-range), and sprinkling of chipped walnuts or shredded aged parmesan cheese. I don’t skimp on salad dressing, I either make my own or a favorite brand that’s affordable is Ken’s brand, their lite honey mustard dressing is my favorite, it’s not low fat so doesn’t have that low-fat dressing nasty taste/ flavor.
