STOP! playing some crazy lighthouse worker is NOT the same and playing a convincing Bruce Wayne and a convincing Batman! There is zero correlation.

Why is Warner Brothers too dumb to bring back Michael Keaton and Tim Burton? Give us a sequel to Batman Returns.

If this project crashes and contributes to waking people from their shallow stupor and infantilized obsession with comic book super heroes, I for one, will credit Robert Pattinson as the hero we need even if the man-babies don't think we deserve.

I personally think that Twilight was miscast. I hope he proves me wrong, but I think Bruce Wayne should be played by a more interesting actor.

I'm not surprised that this film is having problems, just look @ the casting of batman: Rob P isn't right for the role(he's too skinny & won't convince anyone that he can beat up guys that are 200lbs+)i think he would be more suited to play nightwing(if they did a nightwing film) the batsuit is one of the worst ever alongside the Joel Schumacher films. I personally lost interest in the film when I saw the casting, it will be interesting to see if the film is a flop or not

Reeves wanted Nicholas Hoult from the start, and WB wanted Robert Pattinson. Looks like WB got exactly what it asked for.

I wondered why Lucius Fox was dressed as Gordon and conducting a crime scene. Why they didn't cast that actor as Lucius Fox (a very well-known and popular character) instead of Gordon sums up the stupidity of this movie.

Everything I've heard about this movie is either stupid or disappointing, or both. It was also funny how they were slapping each other on the back for casting a black actress to play Catwoman as if they didn't know (and I bet they didn't) that it had been done before and in the '60s.

I had to Google Nicholas Hoult. I'm not familiar with his work, but he looks perfect for the role.

Robert Pattinson is possibly making the movie fail to get AT&T to sell Warner. Which worked, as AT&T is throwing in the towel and merging Warner with Discovery Networks. This supposedly happened with "Waterworld". Costner supposedly greatly increased the budget for that movie to scare Matsushita [Panasonic] and get him to sell MCA Universal to Edgar Bronfman.

Hoult would have to bulk up quite a bit. He’s nearly as skinny as Pattinson. Not as versatile an actor either.

Bruce Wayne is 6'2" and 230 lbs. Pattinson will never be close to that.

He was just in WB's "Those Who Wish Me Dead" and was cast as the villain in "Mission Impossible 7" but had to drop out because of the shut down and the production would bump into his filming of "The Great".

I miss the days when an actor was always cast as the actor of a character until he made it impractical to do so. The reboot/recast rate of these superheroes makes my head spin. Good thing Hugh Jackman has continued to be wolverine for nearly 20 years...

It was released in the theaters and HBO Max so box office is moot and until HBO Max releases viewership numbers there is no way to see how many have watched.
