"They don’t let frumps into the garden club!
Could be interesting, but this looks like just another Wisteria Lane, in 1949 though. Marc Chery is one trick pony, he needs to hire new writers.

OP - have you seen Season 1?

Watched first few episodes of this (Season 2.)
It’s not good. Cherry is indeed a one-trick pony…right down to the narrator.
Costumes are nice.

R1 yes the season 1 was also similar to Desperate Housewives. Lucy Liu's character was basically just Gabrielle Solis who traveled back to 1980, but the nice thing about Season 1 was its stories in 3 different eras, more intriguing to watch.

I'm watching S2 now. I like it so far.
I'm glad gorgeous Matthew Daddario is getting work.

Season 2 is great. Isabel is the funniest character; Scooter and Rita are gorgeous and the Philcotts look like circus freaks.

Season one was boring. Too much filler for a story with milquetoast ending. Does season two get more to the point?

I loved season one for the fantastic period interiors and Jack Davenport's participation. Season 2 has a better storyline and again, fantastic period interiors and costumes.

Cancelled despite renewal back in December, something that doesn't happen very often. GLOW was another example of this.

Oh no!

Damn! I was looking forward to a season three! I loved both seasons.
Do we think Marc Cherry got hands-on with someone? He's quite the ladies man, we hear!
