Is it tacky of Helix to feature dead Riley on their home page? Is it tacky to release it uncut, still starring Riley?
If you were a fan of Riley, will you now greedily consume his posthumous work and dump heavy loads?

I'm not a fan but the thought of jerking off to a dead guy creeps me out.
But I think there are enough people who'll watch this precisely because Riley is in it, so I'd say it's understandable they still released it.

Plus, most people who are going to watch this probably don't even know who Alex Riley is and that he died
by Anonymous | reply 2 | May 29, 2021 10:20 PM |
I still enjoy watching bottom boy Tyler Sky, who also died.

I have no issue with them releasing the scene... eventually. Not a few weeks after the guy died. That's just in really poor taste, but par for the course for Helix Studios.

I am op and agree with R4. Just wait a bit. But no. And they feature it on their website. Gruesome.

R1 better avoid everything from the 80s

Imagine exploiting a dead person!

Dallas Preston is none too happy that they released the scene so quickly after Alex passed.

Oh, please. The kid only got the job so that Helix could shoot the film and make some money. He was in it for the money. He got paid. Now it's time for Helix to get paid. That's show biz, kids.

No 'normal' film studio would scrap a movie just because one of the lead actors has died. If I were a fan of his, I don't think I'd want to watch the scene knowing he's passed, and I understand it must be hard for his friends, but you can't seriously expect a porn studio to be MORE respectful of the dead than the mainstream film industry.
Helix does seem like a creepy and exploitative company, but some of those boys sound deluded about the industry they chose to work in.

I agree that they should have waited a bit, but Dallas Preston at R8 doesn't just seem to be taking issue with the timing; it sounds like he doesn't want them to release the scene at all.

Personally, and this is my own opinion of Dallas Preston, I think he joined Helix cause he wanted to fuck their models, plain and simple. And he did. He got it on with Josh Brady, Kane Fox, Alex Riley and a slew of others. A young fresh twink who is horny for a bunch of hot jock-type guys (oh, and let's not forget he and Garrett are apparently an item) was living the dream!!
And from his tweets, he's filming with the likes of Angel Rivera and others. Obviously, his leaving Helix isn't stopping him from hooking up with as many guys as he can. Sort of reminds me of Adam Awbride.
So yeah, I think the princess doth protest too much in this instance.
BTW Dallas, STILL waiting on that video of yours explaining why you left Helix...

Oh Zach...
What I find interesting is that Eli Bennet leaves Helix (in part cause he alleges he was drugged and raped by their owner), but signs with a company who hired former Helix tech guy Deniz Bilgin, a guy who was Joey Mills' drug dealer during their Helix hey-days.
Have fun with that one Eli!!!

Helix’s stables is full of ugly boys
by Anonymous | reply 14 | June 26, 2021 3:47 AM |
I wonder if his parents will get emotional while watching it.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | June 26, 2021 4:07 PM |
The Eli Bennet controversy or whatever you want to call it reminds me a bit about what Brent Corrigan went through with Bryan and Cobra Video. It's well-known that Bryan was sleeping with the then-17 year old Corrigan, who then wanted out of his contract because of the abuse (emotional). What is interesting is that Brent remained in the industry - he didn't quit and go off to raise horses until much later, when he realized he was an old has-been.
Wouldn't you think that guys who are allegedly abused in the industry would want to get as far away from it as possible? Instead, they end up signing with studios who, an argument can be made, have their own shit to deal with.
I doubt Eli will be any happier at Carnal Media than he was at Helix. We'll see when he starts tweeting about this abuse he suffered at the hands of LeGrand and his band of merry maidens.

Precisely. What does Legrand get out of this that could possibly be worth the risk of having Bennett around? It's not so hard to find an attractive young man who wants a chance at stardom.

I suspect there's a bit of a Stockholm Syndrome type thing going on with some of those guys. Reactions to abuse (sexual, but probably emotional and physical as well) can be quite paradox. Apparently some victims start identifying with their abuser (which might eventually lead to them repeating the cycle), keep going back for more, and/or subconsciously seek out situations where they'll be taken advantage of again.
And I think a lot of guys in porn already start out quite damaged. They come from fucked-up backgrounds and don't react to abuse/mistreatment like you or I would (I don't know anything about Eli Bennet's background, but it seems to be a pattern with porn actors).

Eli Bennet is frantically commenting on girls/non-binaries on twitter. I've only been following him for a few weeks ... is this a new thing with him, or has he gone through similar phases before?
by Anonymous | reply 19 | June 29, 2021 12:01 AM |
R19 What's he tweeting about? Commenting in a negative way? Positive way? I think he's trying to stay relevant to the conversation, which is sad. Still waiting to hear exactly how he was drugged and abused by Keith. All we know if that Keith allegedly gave him a drink that caused him to pass out (?) and when he woke up, he was in bed and Keith told him they had had a threesome (?). Did I get that right?
by Anonymous | reply 20 | June 29, 2021 12:32 AM |
[R20]He's calling them beautiful, gorgeous, leaving 😍 emojis under their lingerie pics and stuff like that. Like he's suddenly desperate to let the world know he's bi/pan/fluid/openminded/whatever.
As I said, I only started following him recently; I don't know if he's gone through similar phases before … but I find it interesting that it happens so shortly after the controversy surrounding his new studio and the rape allegations against Helix. Is he trying to divert attention from that?

Listened to the Helix podcast with Jacob Hansen, who just moved to LA from Phoenix, where his buddies Seth, Aiden & Calvin Banks currently live (not sure if he's also friends with Phoenix-based Cameron Parks).
He spoke briefly about Alex. Was the hardest situation he's ever been through, and still thinks of him quite often every day. It's been really difficult, which is part of the reason why he left Phoenix (everything reminded him of Alex). Called him "a walking God" (exactly what Jacob says about Alex). Was love at first sight (take that Trevor Harris!!).
Still loves him, but doesn't want to know the details about his death.
