So let's parse this a bit - she said she got no freebies. Ok - that doesn't mean she wasn't LOANED dresses, it's that she wasn't allowed to keep them.

Isn't that sort of how things work? Did she expect free expensive dresses to be hers afterwards? It's not like you're allowed to wear the same dress over and over and over again.

And she received plenty of freebies in gift bags and in other compensation. So, she's at best stretching the truth -

R13, true. I worked in PR back when Sharon was a big deal and designers were throwing clothes at even B-list celebrities to wear to major events. These were all loaners, and many times I had to beg clients over and over again to return them to the designers, and after many months, I'd get them back crammed in fedex boxes, wrinkled, dirty, torn and worn out. Sharon may not have bought the clothes, but she did benefit from loaners.

Sharon lies. It's probably the reason that she is an actress even though many question her ability and talent. I remember Rosie O'Donnell had a great take on Stone's vagina scene as Stone professed to never knowing that it happened. Basically, Rosie did a "Come on, Sharon! The cameras, lighting, and direction, and you want us to believe that you didn't know?"
