Can asthma cause abdominal pain?

Today, I started having abdominal pain in my upper right abdomen when breathing in. I didn’t know what to do to make it go away. I thought maybe it was a problem with my lungs and reached for my inhaler. It worked. After using my inhaler (for my asthma) the pain stopped. If it comes back I’ll use my inhaler again and see what happens. I didn’t have this symptom with asthma before. And I didn’t have any wheezing.

Do you cough a lot? Could be muscle strain

Sounds like acid reflux or the beginnings of GERD. My mother had it pretty bad and had to take medication for it. After too much spicy food I'll have temporary issues where acid reflux causes a sensation similar to having mild asthma. Not bad enough for an inhaler, but Breathe Easy tea and a Tums usually solves the issue once the acid problem is neutralized. No real pain in the abdomen unless gas is part of it, but my upper abdomen will feel heavy, and overly full/bloated even if I haven't eaten much. If I have problems frequently, I do FODMAP diet for a week or so until things calm down. All that said, check with your doctor just in case.

Well, two things I can tell you, OP.

FIrst, your pussy stinks.

Second, this isn't your free medical consultation service. Use Google, you twat.

Pollen allergies could. They irritate and inflame the gastrointestinal tract, too. So if some of your asthma symptoms may have been exacerbated by or were instead pollen allergies, one of the reactions could've been stomach upset that included abdominal discomfort.

Sorry to hear that, OP. Are you elder? Speaking for my (old) self, my body is acting like an American car no longer under warranty. The other Sunday I was just reading the paper in bed and all at once the lefthand side of my jaw started to ache, then my neck, then my left chest and arm. It tightened up like crazy for two minutes, then it all relaxed in the opposite order. WTF? And yet when I ask my GP for heart test, she just says I'm fine.
