Kim Cattrall and Patricia Field have remained close since their time on set, and appeared to have recently had dinner together, according to Cattrall's Instagram post. "My dinner with @Pat_Field A true friend and confidant," Cattrall wrote on social media last week with a photo of the designer.
Field has maintained a "very positive creative relationship" with Cattrall over the years, noting that she recently helped style her upcoming nuptials. Cattrall has been in a relationship with Russell Thomas for almost five years.
"As a matter of fact, she's getting married at City Hall for a second time so I sent her to Dior," Field told WWD. "They make this New Look jacket that is a laser type jacket that comes in at the waist. It's cut very well. She went there and got it."
Field had absolutely nothing to say about SJP in that WWD interview

Can't help wondering if Patricia Field considered herself stiffed out of her share of the glory, credit, and profits from the original series going nuclear in syndication (which is where SJP and the other series producers got really, really rich). Field did both of the SATC movies but she's moved on to other series/films.
Jokes about SJP aside, I tend to believe stories that she is not a nice or generous person to do business with. She is in this project to amass her fortune, plain and simple. And Michael Patrick Kennedy sounds like an asshole.

She's on Team Kim, huh? Very interesting.
Catrall has always seemed like someone who projects a lot of good vibes. I respect her for going back into the theater and trying to gross as an actress instead of play the same character until she dies. Seems like a true actress.

or it just could have been that since the women are pushing senior citizen age, they'll start dressing more age-appropriate, which would negate Field's work, as she tends to dress characters for costume parties rather than real life.
