I'm watching an Indian soap opera with my mother and sister and the drama being presented blows any Western soap opera out of the water. I mean where else would you see this kind of effects being used for a character introduction.

Ram Kapoor - the guy in R2's pic was really hot before he became really fat. He's the guy who dances in the empty swimming pool in "Monsoon Wedding".

I watched a couple of hundred episodes of "Kasautii Zindagi Kay" and blogged about it when I was learning Hindi. Lots of gorgeous men. But the plot was SOOOO ridiculous, I finally couldn't take it anymore. Komolika was an excellent villain, but really, she actually killed the little baby and nothing happened to her and she was accepted back into the family?? Etc.
