Will They Ever Do a Series “sixtysomething”?
Will Melissa have finally come out & now be a lesbian granny? Will she have given birth to twins through artificial insemination who are now jolie-laide adults with children of their own? Will Hope and Michael’s daughter be trans? Will Elliot be a billionaire libertarian trying to destroy the US government with the help of foreign spy agencies so he won’t have to pay more taxes? Will Nancy be dead of cancer? Will Gary still be dead? Will anyone remember or care who Ellyn was? Will shoulder pads and blue work shirts make a comeback?
Or did they do it already and I missed it because I haven’t watched broadcast tv in years?

There really was going to be a reboot, but it was shelved due to Covid. Sucks--"thirtysomething" was a fantastic show.

I hated Thirtysomething HATED, with all caps. Go cradle your mug and cry about it, you miserable sacks of shit, I don't give a fuck, you precious little twits and all of you who watch it.
Thirtysomething and Small Wonder are the two shows that trigger me and make me want to lose my mind.
Don't ask me why because I don't even know.

Years ago, circa 2000, I had a drag queen friend audition for one of the Crocodile Dundee movies. I went with and we were sitting on the floor in the hallway when Melanie Mayron comes in to read for a part. She plops herself down opposite Robby and I and futzes around in her purse and pulled out a script. I smiled at her. She smiled back. I quickly said, "You were my favorite character on thirtysomething." (Which she was.) She was very humble and we chatted for a couple of minutes about the show and some movie she'd made with Helen Slater which I'd seen.

I hated when they killed off Gary, the hottest piece of ass on the show.
I loved the producers other show Once & Again, with Sela Ward and my imaginary husband, Billy Campbell. I wish it was streaming somewhere.
