Do people roll their eyes when you tell them you're from London?

London, Ontario should be part of the United States.

It's smack dab in between Buffalo and Detroit, on this weird peninsula-type of land.

Why is it even considered Canada?

They do when I tell them I'm from London, Texas. Texans used to be welcome the world over; no so much these days. We even had to close the Texas Embassy in London. Fuck.

When I tell foke I am from Condom they get very embarrassed and stair into their drinks for a split second and tell me I must mean "London, darling." It is annoying.

It's one of the most conservative cities in Canada, certainly the most conservative one in Ontario.

London is not next to Detroit. Windsor is next to Detroit.

I graduated from the university there. Most of the students were from Toronto, rich, and homophobic. It was the 80's so that was normal.

Ontario has some really beautiful scenery but the people are god awful. I have a very dear friend who lives in Ontario and there are Trumpers and people who honestly believe the COVID vaccine is being used for tracking or mind control. Then you have the super aggressive angry at everything assholes of Toronto and every town surrounding it.

Oddly, I’ve never told anyone that I’m from London, Ontario.

We used to get a tv station from there during the summer when I grew-up in Cleveland. The place seemed boring. Everything seemed to be on Dundas Street.
