Spent several minutes searching and I think this "XXX version" is just a juvenile publicity stunt and Stone is in on it. The 4K restoration publicity about a month ago said nothing about hardcore porn scenes being added in and there's no way a studio filmed hardcore scenes back in the 1990s.
Someone decided to call it the "XXX version" for publicity and scandal but I'd bet anything it's just referencing the crotch shot, which is now in 4k.
