Was discussing this with friends the other night. Our takeaways were, if FNM had stayed with this sound we might have been into them and Courtney is giving some Siouxsie vibes.

Ok but the bigger question is why did we need FNM when we already had the superior Blind Melon?

Are Faith No More generally disliked? I always thought people liked them - I don't know a lot of their songs, but "Ashes to Ashes" and "Evidence" are really great (hearing those songs at age 12? 13? was the first inkling I had that I was going to be more of an alternative music teen than a pop one). And Mike Patton could be very good looking sometimes, I see that more so in hindsight than at the time. One of my close friends as a teen looked like him funnily enough. I also appreciate that he's one of those people who love experimenting with their voice.

Who’s behalf are we to be upset about and is one canceling out the other for being involved with them?
